Buzz Worthy Spring Trends

Hi Pretty Lil Bees!

I am so excited to be writing to you guys today in beautiful, sunny weather! I think we can all finally breathe a sigh of relief and confidently say that spring has sprung. (Took long enough, right?) Spring is a time to refresh and renew, which is why it is such a big season for the fashion industry! Everything about spring fashion is fresh – the colors, the fabrics and the patterns. In case you all need a refresher in spring style or some outfit inspo for rodeo and festival season, let’s look at the biggest trends in the western fashion world for the season.

Pastels, Statement Brights & Earthy Neutrals

Everyone knows that pastels are for spring but how do you nail down the look? Mix in earthy neutrals and a statement color that pops! One of my favorite ways to style these colors is to wear a pastel top with neutral pants and a statement bag. If you like your bags neutral, you can also go for a bright piece of statement jewelry – turquoise qualifies!

Floral Bull Head Print

This print is taking the boutique world by storm! I love this print because it is a fun way to wear floral details without wearing literal floral print. The bull skull balances out the feminine details and makes it fun to mix with denim, leather or suede. You can pick this print up in a dress, kimono or printed on a blouse. It’s a fun way to show off a little western flair!

 Light Wash Denim

Since the colors are lighter in the Spring, it only makes fashion sense that your denim choices should be lighter too! What’s more effortless than a pair of light wash denim flares or an acid wash romper?  Light wash denim has a more casual, laid back vibe that pairs perfectly with spring colors and relaxed, airy details. You can dress this trend up or down, style it a thousand different ways and still have an effortless cool vibe!

Coconuts by Matisse Booties

No look is finished without the perfect shoe! My favorite shoe for this season and every season, honestly, is the Coconuts by Matisse booties. It has a flirty cut down the middle of your foot with lots of carefree fringe. Show off the details with a short dress, cut offs or make them more neutral with a flare jean. Of course, when you’re obsessed with a shoe, you buy it in every color. Lucky for you all, these booties come in a plethora of colors – make sure to check out the new Saddle and Grey shades!

Don’t forget that all of these trends are available at Lil Bees Bohemian boutique. We are always adding fun pieces that follow the biggest trends and help you set the next ones.

What are your favorite ways to wear these styles? Let us know in the comments!

Thanks,

Andrea Thorp ~ The Rodeo Mrs.
